John Vincent III

John Vincent III will be in Paris on June 8, 2027 at La Maroquinerie. Trained between Houston and Los Angeles, the singer-songwriter has made a name for himself in an independent folk centered on vocals and fingerpicked guitar. On stage, he unfolds intimate songs born in the mid-2010s, with discreet arrangements that include keyboards and sometimes strings. Slow tempos, melodies at the forefront, lyrics that explore relationships, memory and the transition to adulthood: his palette is composed of nuance and closeness.

His debut album Blue Boy, released in 2019, established a hushed and deliberately spare framework. In 2023, Songs for the Canyon slightly broadened the spectrum—more expansive in places—without losing the melodic thread or the clarity of the songwriting.
