Hooverphonic « 30 Years Anniversary Tour »

Hooverphonic celebrates three decades of creative output with its 30 Years Anniversary Tour. On 20 March 2027 at 9-9bis in Oignies, the Belgian band led by Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts revisits a discography that has moved from trip hop to a broad, cinematic pop. Formed in 1995 and first noticed with "2Wicky" and A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular, the project quickly widened its scope—between electronica, dream pop and alternative rock—displaying a pronounced taste for orchestration and taut melodies.

On vocals, Geike Arnaert, who returned in 2020, restores her clear vocal line to songs that helped shape the group’s identity, from Blue Wonder Power Milk to The Magnificent Tree and Hooverphonic Presents Jackie Cane, not to mention the more orchestral approach of Sit Down and Listen. After a detour to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 with "The Wrong Place", Hooverphonic followed with Hidden Stories and Fake Is the New Dope, evidence of songwriting that continues to evolve. Live, the band assembles its different periods into a wide-ranging set, between dreamlike atmospheres, muted rhythms and carefully crafted arrangements.
