Leo Middea

Leo Middea, a Brazilian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Rio de Janeiro and based in Barcelona, will perform in Bordeaux on 24 October 2026 at the Salle des Fêtes Bordeaux Grand Parc. An emerging figure on Brazil’s new music scene, he has in recent years built a solid international career, nourished by extensive tours and musical encounters around the world.

On stage, Leo weaves a repertoire in which MPB, samba and bossa nova converse with broader influences. Guitar-led, with a clear voice and supple melodies, he conveys the energy of carioca swing without overstating it, privileging the momentum of the songs and a strong sense of rhythm. His music advances in small strokes, between danceable grooves and restrained lyricism, with that blend of warmth and precision that characterizes his writing.

The concert draws on his five studio albums and also features tracks from Notícias de Puglia, released in 2026, an album that looks at Brazil from exile while reaffirming his roots. Between new compositions and signature pieces, Leo Middea assembles a simple, direct through-line that links Rio to Europe, tradition to contemporary detours.
