Amble will perform on 28 February 2027 at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Irish trio moves between contemporary folk and indie folk, with the voices in the foreground and guitars that leave ample space. Their songs centre on multi-part harmonies, spare arrangements and measured tempos so the lyrics can breathe: relationships, vulnerability and the everyday, told directly. The project took shape through early online releases and subsequently developed on the stages of smaller venues and independent-music spaces. Live they keep things compact: simple structures, vocal harmony and a warm, direct sound that remains close to folk tradition without becoming nostalgic. The set is built from stripped-down compositions and unadorned melodies, with the story at the centre and the dynamics coming primarily from the voices. Acoustic, attentive and intimate—precisely the atmosphere in which Amble best comes into its own.
