Don West

Australian musician Don West brings his understated blend of contemporary soul and pop to Le Studio TD in Montréal on September 13, 2026. Built on supple melodies and an R&B-leaning vocal delivery, his songs favor slow-to-mid tempos and uncluttered arrangements that put the writing upfront. West first turned heads in 2019 opening for Lime Cordiale before releasing any music, then uploaded Money on triple j Unearthed. In 2020 he continued with Equaliser, recorded with Hayley Mary, a move that placed him within an Australian scene bridging modern soul, indie pop and radio-friendly formats. His self-titled debut EP landed in November 2024, laying out a clear palette of lean grooves and direct, conversational vocals. On stage, he has tested and refined this approach at SXSW Sydney and Byron Bay Bluesfest, working a live sound that values pulse, space and a memorable hook. November 2025 saw his first album, Give Me All Your Love, extending the line into ballads and organic pop cuts.
