Info
Matilda Mann plays Manchester Academy, Manchester, on 9 October 2026. London-born and rooted in West London, the singer-songwriter moves between indie folk and soft pop, favoring pared-back arrangements where the guitar leads and the voice stays close and unforced. Since the late 2010s, she’s been sketching stories of relationships, hesitations and everyday scenes in concise, melodic forms. After the BRIT School, she released a run of EPs — If That Makes Sense and Because I Wanted You to Know in 2020, Sonder in 2021, You Look Like You Can’t Swim in 2023 — before unveiling her first album, Roxwell, in 2025. Along the way she supported Arlo Parks, beabadoobee and The Staves, appeared with spill tab on Borderline Insane, and added harmonies to Bombay Bicycle Club’s Fantasneeze. She also toured Europe and the UK with Wallows, then joined Role Model on UK dates. On stage in Manchester, expect a set that threads Roxwell highlights with earlier songs, keeping the focus on melody, space and an intimate delivery.
