Info
On September 8, 2026, Le Dodu in Marseille hosts La Coka Nostra to mark twenty years of no‑nonsense hip‑hop. Formed between Boston and New York around Danny Boy O’Connor and DJ Lethal (formerly of House of Pain), the collective established itself with Slaine and Ill Bill as leading figures, moving between hardcore rap and gritty boom‑bap. On stage, the quartet unleashes compact energy, heavy beats and lyrics cut from real life, rooted in well‑anchored solo careers and an underground vision that has never diluted.
On the bill: an overview of their discography, from the 100% Pure Coka EP and the debut album A Brand You Can Trust to Masters of the Dark Arts and To Thine Own Self Be True. Twenty years of songs shaped by the streets, politics and social tensions, performed with the same intensity as in their MySpace‑era beginnings. A live comeback true to their DNA: upfront, dark and direct rap designed for the stage.
