Info
On July 6, 2026, at Pan Piper (11th arrondissement, Paris), Return To Dust asserted its vision of alternative rock steeped in grunge and heavy guitars. Formed in Los Angeles, the quartet brings together Matty Bielawski (guitar, vocals), Graham Stanush (bass, vocals), Sebastian Gonzalez (guitar) and London Hudson (drums). Their direct songwriting, carried by vocal harmonies and a massive rhythmic backbone, reinvests ’90s DNA without pastiche, with overt nods to Alice in Chains. After a self-titled debut album in 2024, shaped with producer Jim Kaufman, and a flagship single, “Belly Up,” the band followed in 2025 with the EP Speak Like the Dead. On stage, their set swings between tension, melody and sweat-inducing riffs.
Opening the bill, Storm Orchestra, a French rock trio composed of Maxime Goudard (vocals, guitar), Adrien Richard (bass, keyboards, backing vocals) and Loïc Fouquet (drums), develops a direct, punchy sound where metallic riffs, a dense rhythm section and clear melodies interplay. After an initial EP in 2020 and the album What a Time to Be Alive in 2023, the group has refined an aesthetic that sits between British indie and 2000s alternative. The lyrics address humanist themes, equality and environmental concerns, playing on the contrast between power and more atmospheric passages. The next chapter: Get Better, crafted with Adrian Bushby on mixing, Bert Poncet on production and George Perks on mastering.
