Gilbert Montagné returns live with his piano and that sense of groove that runs through his entire career. On 4 March 2027 at the Espace Malraux, Parc des Bretonnières in Joué-lès-Tours, he will present on stage L’Amour dans ses mains, a new album that blends pop pulses, touches of soul and more melancholic hues. Between recent tracks and choruses you instinctively sing along to, he delivers a set where rhythmic energy answers more stripped-back ballads, always centered on the voice and the keyboards.
The milestones of his repertoire are not forgotten: The Fool, On va s’aimer, Les Sunlights des Tropiques, Liberté, Le blues de toi, Musicienne… Songs reworked for the present, designed for the stage, with catchy grooves, carefully crafted vocal arrangements and more intimate moments.
