SiM « Hooman World Tour »

SiM brings the HOOMAN WORLD TOUR to Vancouver on October 18, 2026 at The Pearl. Formed in Shonan, Kanagawa in 2004, the Japanese quartet — vocalist MAH, guitarist SHOW-HATE, bassist SIN and drummer GODRi — has forged a hybrid sound that stitches metalcore and nu metal to ska-punk bounce, reggae rock pulse, dub textures and a hip-hop edge. Across albums like Seeds of Hope, Pandora and The Beautiful People, their writing swings between serrated riffs, syncopated rhythms and direct, melodic refrains.

In recent years, SiM has pushed the blend further with the EP Beware and the album Playdead, while The Rumbling and Under the Tree, linked to Attack on Titan, opened the band to a wider crowd without sanding down the grit. On stage, they tighten everything: down-tuned guitars hit hard against elastic bass lines, drums flip from half-time crush to skanking upbeats, and MAH moves from rapid-fire phrasing to ragga cadences and clean hooks. The result is a live set that joins early staples with newer tracks, built on sharp breaks, momentum shifts and call-and-response moments, carried by a groove that stays heavy without losing swing.
