On 17 August 2026, NRG lands at Amnesia, Ibiza, with Ben Hemsley at the helm. The Newcastle-born DJ and producer Hemsley blends trance, house and techno with a direct club punch and luminous melodies. His sound draws on late‑’90s and 2000s rave culture without slipping into easy nostalgia: it’s functional on the dancefloor, with structures inherited from tech house and hard house, and a tension that rises and falls without losing the thread. In the studio he’s released on Trick, Patrick Topping’s label, as well as Ministry of Sound, Arcane and his own imprint Bebé; behind the decks, his trajectory runs through clubs, warehouses and festivals across the UK, where he’s honed an approach designed to keep the floor moving.
