Dagny

Norwegian singer and songwriter Dagny plays Electric Ballroom in London on 2 February 2027. Raised in Tromsø and shaped by years in the UK, she moved from early folk-leaning sketches to a clean blend of indie pop, synth-pop and dance-pop with disco touches. Breakthrough single Backbeat (2015) led to the Ultraviolet EP, then a run of tracks including Wearing Nothing and Love You Like That, the song that later formed the basis of Katy Perry’s Never Really Over. Her albums Strangers / Lovers (2020) and Elle (2024) map out pop that pairs bright melodies with a clear streak of melancholy.

On stage, Dagny leans into tight hooks, elastic rhythms and electronic textures, shifting between rush and restraint. Collaborations with Seeb, Steve Aoki, Kygo and Astrid S broadened her palette; the live set keeps the focus on direct songwriting and uncluttered arrangements.
