Theory of a Deadman

Theory of a Deadman hit O2 Ritz Manchester on 9 February 2027 with a set that spans their full arc, from crunchy post-grunge roots to recent heavier turns. Formed in 1999 in North Delta, British Columbia, the Canadian band built its sound on hard rock riffs and big, melodic choruses, opening up over time to alternative and pop rock textures alongside acoustic and country touches. Early on, they were among the first signings to 604 Records, with Chad Kroeger co-producing their 2002 debut, before pushing on with Gasoline (2005) and Scars & Souvenirs (2008) and touring widely across North America with peers from Nickelback to Alter Bridge.

Across The Truth Is... (2011) and Savages (2014), the group kept its rock backbone while widening the format. The pivot came with Wake Up Call (2017), recorded with Martin Terefe, when they briefly shortened the name to Theory and leaned into a more pop rock approach. Say Nothing (2020) pushed the writing toward social themes, then Dinosaur (2023) brought back a weightier edge. On stage, expect Tyler Connolly and his crew to thread these phases together, balancing sing-along hooks with heavier punch. Special guests open the night.
