I nearly called this show "Pleasure." Then I thought that the only pleasures people would imagine from such a title would be those forbidden to under‑18s. However, for financial reasons, I want those under 18 to be able to attend my performance as well. So I called it "Delicious."
In an hour and a quarter, I will try to unravel the complexity of what produces pleasure in human beings. Of course, pleasure can come from a glass of Chasselas savoured on the lakeshore in spring. But it can also be provoked by the death of someone you dislike.
My aim is for this show to elicit in you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme as delightful as eating Gruyère in Gruyères.
