Ole 60

Ole 60 brings its Kentucky-bred country and alt-country to SWG3 Glasgow on 11 November 2026. Formed in Hawesville in 2023 by childhood friends Jacob Ty Young and Tristan Roby, the seven-piece has built a lean, road-ready sound that moves between country, southern rock and folk. Pedal steel, banjo and mandolin rub shoulders with rough-edged electric guitars, while the songwriting sticks to small-town snapshots, strained relationships and a grounded kind of melancholy.

The band first stepped out with the EP three twenty-four in 2023, then sharpened its voice with Songs About You in 2024, as tracks like smoke & a light and Thoughts of You found a wider audience. Their debut album, Smokestack Town, landed in 2025 with producer Jacquire King, pushing their mix of rural storytelling and band-driven energy. Along the way, Ole 60 has worked the American country circuit, opened for Dylan Gossett in 2024 and marked a first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in January 2025.

On stage in Glasgow, Ole 60 lines up pedal steel swells, acoustic textures and tightly wound guitars, folding new songs into a set that nods to their early releases.
