On 5 March 2027 at Islington Assembly Hall in London, French 79 — the solo project of Marseille producer Simon Henner — brings a live set built on luminous synth lines, slow-burning builds and crisp, motorik pulses. Across Olympic, Joshua and Teenagers, he has shaped a melodic electronic language that leans toward synth-pop and downtempo house, with cinematic textures and arpeggios that turn into clear, emotional hooks. On stage, he treats this repertoire as a bridge between concert and club, pushing dynamics, layering keyboards and rhythms until the tracks swell then break with precision.

Recognised within the French Touch family and saluted by Jean-Michel Jarre, Henner has also marked the wider scene with standout tracks like Diamond Veins and Lovin’ Feeling, and with his work on Kid Francescoli’s Moon.
