Bristol duo The Allergies — DJs and producers DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat — bring their sample-led blend of funk, soul and hip-hop to Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff, on 19 November 2026, as they tour in support of their latest album, Beneath This Sun. Since As We Do Our Thing (2016), they have honed a direct groove: brass stabs, chopped soul loops, boom bap drums and tight turntable craft, built for dancefloors. On stage, they switch fast between edits and originals, threading rap and soul vocals through punchy, DJ-driven constructions, a line they’ve pushed across Steal The Show, Say The Word and Promised Land. Beneath This Sun leans into sunny melodies and crisp rhythms, and the set pivots around those new cuts without losing the breakbeat backbone that defines them. A night of deep crates, quick blends and earworm choruses, served with no-frills precision by two selectors rooted in the UK groove scene.
