On 29 November 2026 at Chalk, Brighton and Hove, Sunami European Takeover 2026 lines up Sunami, Desolated, Missing Link and Extinguish for a set cut from the heavier end of hardcore. Sunami, out of the Bay Area, drive a beatdown and metallic hardcore mix built on short, dense tracks, drop-tuned riffs and blunt, direct vocals, channelling the collective energy of their DIY roots. Desolated bring UK hardcore grit, packing metallic weight and measured slowdowns that push the room toward mosh-heavy tension. From New York, Missing Link delivers a compact, groove-led take on metallic hardcore: thick guitars, big breaks and an abrasive vocal style that aims for impact over ornament. California’s Extinguish adds a sharp metalcore/beatdown slant, all low-end swings, stop-start hits and cold, clipped rhythms. Four approaches, one hard focus: heavy breakdowns, raw energy and a stripped-back stage presence with no excess.
