Info
Francis of Delirium lands at Resident Music in Brighton on 29 May 2026 for an intimate in-store live set and signing to mark release day. At the core of the project is Jana Bahrich, a Canadian-American songwriter based in Luxembourg, who returns with a new album built around eleven songs that sift through discovery, doubt and perseverance, holding up a clear mirror to their author. Her writing stays lean and direct, with a melodic pull and a balance of taut guitar lines and quieter, dreamier passages that let the emotion breathe.
Developed with producer Chris Hewett, Francis of Delirium honed its voice across early EPs before unveiling the debut album Lighthouse in 2024. This new chapter keeps the indie rock backbone while opening up the arrangements, threading intensity with a lighter touch. In the close-up setting of the shop floor, these songs find a natural focus: words upfront, textures sharp, dynamics alive. After the set, Jana sticks around to sign records and meet listeners — a release-day snapshot of where the project is headed, heard from a few steps away.
