Efterklang

Efterklang are back in Portugal. Between 5 and 12 December, the trio of Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg will tour the country to present their latest record, Things We Have In Common, scheduled for release on 27 September by City Slang. On 6 December 2026 at 7:00 p.m., the show arrives at Casa Capitão in Lisbon.

With more than 20 years of history, Efterklang bring a record that closes the trilogy begun with Altid Sammen (2019) and continued with Windflowers (2021). This new chapter is a deep exploration of “surrender” and “belonging,” marked by the collaborative return of Rune Mølgaard, a founding member who co-wrote seven of the album’s nine songs after a long absence and a spiritual journey.

Things We Have In Common is described by the band as a simpler, more inclusive form of expression. The album features guest appearances such as Zach Condon’s (Beirut) trumpet on the single “Getting Reminders” and the vocals and cello of Guatemalan musician Mabe Fratti on the track “Plant.”
