Tove Lo: Estrus

On 12 November 2026, Tove Lo performs with Estrus at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. The Swedish songwriter and performer grew from the band Tremblebee and the Rytmus school into a voice that blends electropop, synth-pop and dance-pop with direct, autobiographical songwriting. After the breakthrough EP Truth Serum and the album Queen of the Clouds (both 2014), she released Lady Wood, Blue Lips, Sunshine Kitty and Dirt Femme (2022), which push her sound toward the club while retaining its intimacy. On stage she weaves new material into songs that mark her journey, creating a tension between gloss and shadow that has long carried her music. Her work as a writer and collaborator for, among others, Alesso, Flume, Nick Jonas, Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue and Lorde can be heard in taut hooks, physical rhythms and lyrics that remain close.

Rose Gray opens the evening. Raised in East London and honed in British club culture, she translates the logic of the dancefloor into pop forms: repetition that tells a story and energy that brings people together. After a start at the piano and a detour via a major label, she recalibrated her project with Louder, Please as a turning point: the night not as backdrop but as a social system, with characters, rituals and codes. From that grammar she builds tracks that move between club and stage, focused on the group, choreography and a temporary sense of the collective, which she now also brings to European venues.
