The Five Hundred hail from Nottingham. Emerging in the early 2010s, the band established a sound that blends metalcore, djent and progressive metal. The lineup—John Eley on vocals, Mark Byrne and Paul Doughty on guitars, Andy Crawford on bass and Kelsey James on drums—features riffs, melodies and lyrics with an emphasis on rhythm.
