Ron Pope

Born in New Jersey and raised in Georgia, the US singer-songwriter has shaped a catalogue where acoustic pop, americana and folk roots meet a lean, unfussy rock sensibility. His breakthrough arrived in 2007 with A Drop in the Ocean, co-written with Zach Berkman, a track that set the template: melodic ballads, stripped arrangements and country-tinged phrasing.
