Christophe Maé

Since his beginnings in Le Roi Soleil and through the hits that established him on the airwaves, Christophe Maé has shaped a repertoire in which guitar, harmonica and blended rhythms serve instantly appealing melodies. At the Accor Arena in Paris on 17 February 2027, he returned to the stage with a set that traverses his different periods: "On s’attache," "Mon paradis," "Je veux du bonheur" and "On trace la route" sit alongside more recent songs, rearranged with folk and pop inflections and Caribbean touches. His slightly husky voice leads choruses sung back by the crowd, supported by a tight rhythm section and clear arrangements.

Surrounded by like-minded musicians, Maé alternates between intimate moments and more driving passages, leaving room for backing vocals, percussion and a few harmonica departures. The themes of travel, friendship and emotion that run through his albums gain depth in the live versions, delivered with a simple, direct energy. A concert conceived to restore that sense of closeness which forms part of his stage identity.
