The Lemonheads bring their melodic, rough-edged strain of American alternative rock to Electric Studios, Sheffield on 30 September 2026, with Willy Mason joining the bill. Led by Evan Dando since the late 1980s, the band moves between punk bite, jangle-pop hooks and acoustic shades. On stage, they mine early cuts as well as the 90s catalog, with songs from It’s a Shame About Ray and Come on Feel the Lemonheads, plus their take on Mrs. Robinson. The live setup centers on Dando’s songwriting and guitar work, shifting from punchy riffs to stripped, folk-leaning passages.
Willy Mason opens with a deep-voiced folk rock that folds in blues and country influences. Known for Where the Humans Eat, If the Ocean Gets Rough, Carry On and the more recent Already Dead, he writes direct, unadorned songs carried by a steady guitar pulse. His set sets the room gently in motion before The Lemonheads step up, tracing a line from American roots storytelling to the night’s alternative edge.
