Info
The Felice Brothers take over Norwich Arts Centre in Norwich on 1 September 2026. Formed in the Catskill Mountains in 2006, the band built its reputation the rough way, busking in Manhattan before hitting the road. Their folk-rock and Americana draw freely from folk, country, blues and rock, with a raw, rootsy grain, accordion and organ weaving through guitar-led arrangements. Often compared to Dylan and The Band, they favour narrative songwriting that looks to the ballad tradition as much as to classic American rock.
On stage, the group keeps things loose and alive, letting songs shift from hushed waltzes to barroom stomp without over-polish. Close harmonies carry stories of backroads and small towns, with flashes of dry humour and a feel for lived-in detail. The set is likely to roam across their catalogue, from early cuts to more recent releases like From Dreams to Dust and Asylum on the Hill, mixing slow-burners with ragged singalongs. Expect a night where the playing leads the way and the edges are part of the charm, plus support.
