Info

Ibrahim Maalouf brings his Trumpets of Michel-Ange UK tour to The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on Monday, June 8, 2026. The French-Lebanese trumpeter and composer has become a distinctive voice across jazz and beyond, gaining global recognition over the past decade. Queen of Sheba earned him a historic Grammy nomination in 2022, followed in 2023 by a second nod for Capacity to Love. His path includes the first jazz concert to fill France’s largest arena, multiple Victoires du Jazz and Victoires de la Musique awards, and international honors such as Germany’s Echo Jazz.

On stage, Maalouf draws from a broad palette shaped by collaborations with major artists and years of touring, shifting fluidly between lyricism, rhythmic drive and bold arrangements. This UK run focuses on his new album, TRUMPETS OF MICHEL ANGE, featuring fresh material alongside key pieces from his catalogue. A concert that highlights an artist continually opening new ground for the trumpet within contemporary music.
