On Saturday 27 June 2026 at Rough Trade Bristol, Levitation Room bring their East LA psych rock to the stage. Born from the same scene that fostered Ty Segall, Osees and Frankie & The Witch Fingers, the quartet shape hazy, lo-fi songs where chiming guitars, soft harmonies and 60s-leaning melodies drift and coil. Their live path runs through Desert Daze and Austin Psych Fest, with tours alongside Post Animal and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, and that road energy feeds a set that slides from garage snap to daydream pop haze.

Fronted by singer-guitarist Julian Porte with Gabriel Fernandez, Johnathan Martin and bassist Kevin Perez, the band have expanded their palette across records from Friends, Ethos and Headspace to the recent Strange Weather. Made with collaborators like Rob Campanella, Jason Kick and Joel Robinow, the newer tracks lean into reverb-drenched leads, vintage keys and concise, floating songwriting. Expect a warm, unhurried flow of songs about city life, affection and the thin line between reality and illusion, rendered in bright psych tones.

Cruush open the night. From Manchester, Amber Warren, Arthur Boyd, Fotis Kalantzis and Bruno Evans work a gritty seam of alt-rock: fuzzy guitars, tightly wound rhythms and vocals that swing from tender to cutting. Their grunge-pop edge and shoegaze weight deliver compact bursts that both contrast with and complement Levitation Room’s glow.
