Basement bring their new album Wired to The Fleece, Bristol, on May 13, 2026, for a release show. Since the late 2000s, the band has threaded emo urgency through grunge-weighted guitars and hook-led melodies, a balance first heard on Songs About the Weather and shaped across I Wish I Could Stay Here and Colourmeinkindness. After a pause, they widened their scope with Further Sky, then sharpened the songwriting on Promise Everything and its reissue, building a name on direct, high-contrast sets in small rooms. Beside Myself pushed them toward a leaner alternative sound without losing tension and bite. With Wired, out via Run For Cover Records, Basement return to that push-and-pull they’ve refined for over a decade: clean lines up against dense riffs, intimate vocals cut with sudden surges. Expect a focused set built around new material, with older staples woven in to map where the band is now.
