Tom Misch

On 9 June 2026 Tom Misch will play at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The London-based producer, singer and guitarist builds his live sets around smooth grooves, precise drums and clear guitar lines, where neo-soul, jazz-funk, hip hop and R&B effortlessly intertwine. From the Beat Tapes up to Geography (2018) he established a melodic soul-pop that leaves space for his voice and guitar. With Yussef Dayes on What Kinda Music (2020) he shifted toward improvisation, electronic textures and broken beat, a direction that reappears live in longer jams and open arrangements. Under the alias Supershy he then explored a dancefloor-oriented side with Happy Music (2023), while more recently he returned to releasing under his own name with the EP Six Songs (2024) and the album Full Circle (2026).

On stage this results in a band that moves between downtempo soul and rhythmic passages, with jazz-tinged harmonies and basslines that carry the groove. The set connects his trajectory: early Beat Tape motifs, the accessible soul-pop of Geography, the interplay from What Kinda Music and new material from Full Circle, always anchored by guitar, vocals and production.
