Westside Cowboy

Westside Cowboy bring their Britainicana to The 1865 in Southampton on 30 November 2026. Formed around Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy, the UK quartet balance country hues with indie and art rock edges: big melodies, taut guitars, and a collective feel that keeps the songs alive on stage. Live, they lean into contrast, sliding from jangly sway to rougher, more abrasive turns, with harmonies and riffs snapping into place.

The set will draw from their EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. Singles Don’t Throw Rocks and Can’t See have become anchors in their shows, stretched and toughened for the room without losing their hooks. Recent runs with Geese and Black Country, New Road, plus festival stops at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road, have sharpened the band’s onstage telepathy — the kind you hear when all four push and pull at the same time. In Southampton, expect a tight, forward-moving performance, new corners explored in real time, and that raw, unvarnished drive that defines Westside Cowboy live.
