Australian dancer and musician Lenny Pearce brings his solo project to York on 22 July 2026 at York Barbican. First noticed within Sydney’s Justice Crew, he’s shaped a sound where pop and R&B meet electronic textures and rap‑inspired rhythms. His background in choreography keeps everything physical and precise, with syncopated grooves, sharp hooks and beats that move as much as they sing.

Since stepping out solo, Pearce has been releasing his own tracks and building a community around dance-led videos and studio sessions. On stage, he keeps music, image and movement closely tied: sequences slide from vocal lines to percussive breaks and back, using contrast and tempo shifts to drive the flow.
