Marmozets

Marmozets hit The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth on 8 June 2026, bringing back their sharp, rhythm-switching rock. Formed in Bingley in 2007 from two sibling crews, the five-piece cut its teeth on early EPs before signing to Roadrunner and shaping a sound that threads math-rock precision through post-hardcore, alt rock and punk. Fronted by Becca on vocals, with Jack on guitar, Sam on bass and Josh on drums, they deal in angular riffs, sudden gear changes and choruses built to connect without sanding off the edges.

After The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets (2014) and Knowing What You Know Now (2018), a pause slowed by health issues gave way to a mid-2020s reboot. Back onstage and teasing new material, the band is gearing up for Co.War.Dice. in 2026. Live, expect a set that pivots between abrasive tension and straight-ahead hooks, tight dynamics and bursts of release.
