Kingfishr

On 24 May 2026 at O2 Academy Glasgow, Kingfishr bring their Irish folk–indie blend to the stage. Formed in Limerick during their university years, the trio unites singer-guitarist Eddie Keogh with bandmates McGoo and Fitz. Their writing leans on acoustic guitars, close harmonies and measured percussion, folding in a touch of alt-rock and an indie-pop pulse. The lyrics look outward to landscapes and home, and inward to family ties and the steps into adulthood.

Built track by track since the early 2020s, their catalogue of singles — including Flowers-Fire and Anyway — sketches slow-build refrains and steady crescendos. On stage, those pieces settle into a clean, roomy dynamic: harmonies up front, melodies that climb without fuss, and arrangements that leave space for the crowd. Expect a set that tacks between early tracks and newer material, the trio keeping things direct and accessible while holding the focus on songcraft and atmosphere.
