The Shires

British country duo The Shires bring their harmony-led country-pop to Swansea Arena on 16 November 2026. Formed in 2013 by Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire pairing has shaped a UK take on Nashville storytelling: clear melodies, conversational lyrics and scenes drawn from everyday life. Across Brave, My Universe, Accidentally on Purpose, Good Years and 10 Year Plan, their songs balance bright choruses with pedal-steel shades and close two-part vocals, Rhodes on lead and Earle threading harmonies, keys and guitar. On stage, the set moves between road songs and relationship snapshots, newer cuts alongside the early tracks that first took them to BBC Radio 2 and the C2C circuit. After tours with Little Big Town, The Corrs, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Tom Jones and Tears for Fears, The Shires arrive as a duo connecting the UK’s country scene to its Nashville cousins without losing their accent.
