Info
Mississippi-born singer and songwriter Randy Houser brings his Nashville-honed country to Manchester Academy on 15 August 2026. Raised on southern ballads and bar-band grit, he first made his mark in Music City as a writer for Trace Adkins, Justin Moore and Jessie James, before stepping into the spotlight. Since his 2008 debut Anything Goes, followed by They Call Me Cadillac, he’s built a catalogue that swings from highway anthems to late-night confessionals. How Country Feels in 2013 fixed his name on the map with Runnin’ Outta Moonlight, Goodnight Kiss and Like a Cowboy, then came Fired Up, the more rootsy Magnolia and Note to Self in 2022.
On stage, expect sturdy songwriting, a lived-in voice and a tight band leaning into twang, groove and storytelling. Houser threads newer tracks into a set built around the songs that shaped his path, keeping a songwriter’s focus at the center — the same pen behind First Rose of Spring for Willie Nelson. It’s a show anchored in craft and feel, with guitars up front and melodies that linger.
