Wet Wet Wet celebrate four decades of their debut Popped In Souled Out with an anniversary show at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea on 27 October 2027. Formed in Scotland in the 80s, the band shaped a sound where pop melodies meet soul-inflected ballads and polished pop-rock. For this date, they revisit the spirit of their first record while drawing from the rest of their catalogue, moving between buoyant pop-soul and slow-burning ballads. Expect tight rhythms, expressive keys and harmonies, and a vocal presence that keeps the songs at the center.
Support comes from Rebecca Ferguson. The Liverpool singer brings a contemporary soul palette rooted in R&B, blues and gospel, with writing that favors clean melodies and uncluttered arrangements.
