Info
Teenage Fanclub land at Concorde 2 in Brighton on 5 November 2026 with the calm assurance of a band that’s been writing and touring since 1989 without losing sight of the song. From their Bellshill origins, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and compagnons have shaped a melodic strain of guitar pop where harmonies and interlaced guitars set the tone. The catalogue runs long and steady: from the raw edges of A Catholic Education to the crafted pop of Bandwagonesque, Grand Prix and Songs from Northern Britain, then onward to Endless Arcade and Nothing Lasts Forever. Mid-tempo, clean-lined, anchored by chiming and slightly fuzzed guitars, their tracks move by melody and economy rather than excess.
This run isn’t sold as an anniversary. The band treats the road as everyday work and still sees itself as a contemporary unit, always writing, with any work in progress kept under wraps. On stage, that means a set that looks ahead while drawing across decades, shared vocals and guitar lines doing the heavy lifting. No big concept, just songs carried by balance and detail, cut for rooms where the dynamics breathe.
