Ty Segall

Ty Segall plays O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 8 September 2026. A California native shaped by the San Francisco garage scene, he first made noise with raw, lo‑fi releases before steering toward sharper psychedelic songwriting. Melted, Goodbye Bread and Twins mapped that shift; Sleeper revealed a stripped, acoustic vein; then Manipulator and Emotional Mugger leaned into fuzz, glam edges and warped keys. Freedom’s Goblin and First Taste widened the palette with brass and rhythmic detours, while Harmonizer, Hello, Hi and Three Bells kept the momentum, alternately intimate and full-band electric.

On stage, Segall moves between moods with ease: a lone guitar and close-mic voice one minute, a saturated wall of sound the next. The set tends to span his catalogue, balancing melodic heat with breathers that let the songs breathe, anchored by a band that plays with snap and grain. His parallel routes with Fuzz or GØGGS might color the dynamics, but the center stays his own songs, where psych curves, acoustic sketches and heavy riffs share the same space.
