Info
The Courteeners bring their Manchester-bred indie rock to Liverpool Arena on 13 November 2026. Formed in 2006 around songwriter Liam Fray, the band has built a catalog that tracks a clear line from sharp, guitar-led post-Britpop beginnings to a more expansive sound with synth-pop textures. Early records St. Jude (2008) and Falcon (2010) set the tone with direct, melodic writing, followed by Anna (2013) and a streamlined name change to Courteeners. Concrete Love (2014) and Mapping the Rendezvous (2016) widened the palette without losing the band’s punch, then More. Again. Forever. (2020) and Pink Cactus Café (2024) pushed further into sleek, rhythmic territory.
On stage, Liam Fray leads with crisp storytelling and a tight unit built with long-time collaborators Michael Campbell and Daniel Moores, joined by Joe Cross and Elina Lin. The group has taken these songs everywhere from Glastonbury to Reading and Leeds and TRNSMT, and shared stages with Morrissey, The Stone Roses, Kings of Leon and Noel Gallagher. In Liverpool, expect a set that moves across their timeline, from wiry riffs and driving drums to their recent synth-washed edges, all anchored in the northern pulse that shaped the band.
