Lany: Soft World Tour

LANY bring the soft world tour to O2 Academy Glasgow on 2 June 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in 2014, the project now runs as a duo: Paul Jason Klein up front, Jake Goss on drums. From the early self-titled debut to Malibu Nights, Mama’s Boy and gg bb xx, the band has shaped a precise pop language that blends discreet synths, treated guitars and close-mic vocals, moving between dream-pop shades, R&B inflections and straight-ahead hooks. On stage, that mix shifts from intimate confessionals to driving songs, with Klein’s melodies at the center and rhythms that keep the room alive.

The show leans into contrast: airy textures and piano-led moments set against louder, guitar-coloured tracks. Newer material sits alongside older cuts, reworked for a live setting that trades studio polish for punch and space. LANY have grown into a duo since 2022, and the setup highlights their interplay, tight drums and carefully drawn arrangements. In Glasgow they bring their signature: direct songs, clean lines, and a mood built for night drives and late choruses.
