Info
Glasgow Summer Sessions lands at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, on 3 July 2026 with Kings of Leon headlining, joined by The Lathums and The Royston Club.
Formed in Nashville at the turn of the 2000s, Kings of Leon blend alternative, garage and Southern rock around Caleb Followill’s grainy vocals and lyrics drawn from family ties and everyday tensions. From the raw edges of Youth & Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak to the broader contours of Only by the Night and Come Around Sundown, the band has steadily stretched its canvas. Mechanical Bull, WALLS and When You See Yourself added more atmospheric shades, while Can We Please Have Fun (2024) brought a sharper, more direct pulse built for big outdoor shows.
The Lathums, from Wigan, channel clear guitars and instant melodies into a British indie sound that moves between taut pop-rock and acoustic turns. After early singles and EPs, they released How Beautiful Life Can Be (2021), From Nothing to a Little Bit More (2023) and Matter Does Not Define (2025), honing their live-ready craft.
From Wrexham, The Royston Club push driving riffs and straight-talking hooks. Early demos led to the breakout single Coasting in 2021, a debut album Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars, then Songs for the Spine, confirming a tight, energetic indie rock built to connect on stage.
