Anna von Hausswolff

Anna von Hausswolff plays O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 16 November 2026. Singer, composer and organist from Gothenburg, she builds slow-burning pieces where an expressive voice meets long, sustained textures and an almost liturgical aura. Her work moves between atmospheric pop, dark ambient and a patient, heavy-leaning rock language, with organ timbres often carrying both melody and weight.

From the intimate folk shades of Singing from the Grave to the organ-forward Ceremony, her path has shifted toward longer forms and repetition. The Miraculous and Dead Magic stretched that approach into tense, expansive structures and opened dialogues with experimental and metal-adjacent scenes. All Thoughts Fly pushed fully into organ-only terrain, minimal and resonant.

On stage, she sculpts arcs that expand and contract, letting drones, pedal tones and sparse percussion set a pulse while the voice cuts cleanly through the mix. A set that alternates solitude and density, leaving as much room for silence as for volume.
