Matt Berninger brings his baritone storytelling to Electric Ballroom, London, on 20 July 2026. As the singer and lyricist of The National, he forged a dark, melodic indie rock language drawn to family fractures, doubt and everyday city rituals. Away from the band, he’s explored other paths: the EL VY duo with Brent Knopf, inclined to direct, pop-shaped hooks, and a solo debut, Serpentine Prison, steeped in restrained arrangements, brushed drums, discreet brass and strings.
