Info
Richard Marx brings his After Hours Tour to The London Palladium in London on 7 October 2026. The Chicago-born songwriter and singer broke through at the end of the 80s with a sound that moves between pop rock, soft rock and adult contemporary, built around clear hooks, unfussy arrangements and a steady pull toward the ballad. Before stepping out under his own name, he learned the ropes in Los Angeles as a backing vocalist and studio musician, encouraged early on by Lionel Richie. Since his 1987 debut, he’s released a run of albums that alternate electric bite and acoustic breath: Repeat Offender, Rush Street, Paid Vacation, Flesh and Bone, then Days in Avalon, My Own Best Enemy, Emotional Remains, Stories to Tell and Sundown. In parallel, he has written or co-written for Luther Vandross, NSYNC, Josh Groban and Keith Urban. On stage, he roams through decades of songs, from radio-leaning rock to stripped-back ballads, keeping the craft of songwriting front and center.
