Conan Gray brings his diaristic pop to AO Arena, Manchester, on 9 May 2026. Raised in California and Texas, he first appeared with homemade songs that shaped a bedroom-pop sensibility, then widened the frame with the Sunset Season EP in 2018. Live, that intimacy meets a bigger, pop-forward sound honed on Kid Krow and Superache, where candid storytelling and clean melodies carry the room. With Found Heaven (2024), Gray leans into bright, 80s-tinged synths and power-ballad contours, without losing the conversational writing at the center of his songs.

On stage the set moves between hushed ballads and uptempo releases, tracing friendships under strain, first loves, breakups and the mess of growing up. Backed by a tight band, arrangements co-developed with longtime collaborator Dan Nigro give the songs a dynamic arc, from near-whisper to full-voice singalong. The show connects early favorites with his latest material, letting the new sheen sit beside the raw edges of his beginnings — a portrait of an artist whose pop keeps expanding while staying close to the page of his notebook.
