New York singer, songwriter and producer Sarah Kinsley brings her self-built art-pop to The Fleece, Bristol on 26 May 2026. Classically trained on piano and violin, she layers voice, strings, keys and subtle electronics into songs that evolve in real time, slipping from confessional quiet to tighter, more rhythmic passages. Her DIY approach shapes both the arrangements and the way she plays them live, translating studio detail into a lean, hands-on setup that keeps the focus on melody and texture.

Since the EP The King (2021), Kinsley has traced a line between intimacy and drive; Cypress (2022) sharpened the contrasts, Ascension (2023) leaned into clear, climbing refrains, and her 2024 debut album Escaper ties those threads into a more narrative flow. On stage, she revisits this catalogue with fluid builds, layered harmonies and a close dialogue between voice, piano and electronics. A set where the songs breathe and swell without losing their pulse, carried by a precise sense of dynamics and a taste for lush yet measured arrangements.
