Wolfmother

Australia’s Wolfmother lands at O2 Academy Bristol on 28 July 2026, emmenés par le chanteur-guitariste Andrew Stockdale. Since forming in Sydney in the early 2000s, the band has honed a heavy, melodic sound rooted in 70s hard rock and psychedelia: thick, fuzzed riffs, high-register vocals and flashes of retro keyboards.

Their 2005 self-titled debut pushed them onto international stages, followed by Cosmic Egg in 2009 with a weightier tone and stretched song structures. After the departure of the original rhythm section, Wolfmother carried on around Stockdale, self-releasing New Crown in 2014, then tightening the writing on Victorious in 2016. Through changing line-ups, the project keeps its core identity focused on stage energy and guitar-forward impact.

In Bristol, a set drawing across the catalogue is on the cards, from early stompers to leaner, more direct cuts, delivered with the momentum that has carried the group through headline runs and support slots across Australia, Europe and North America.
