Lily Allen has lined up a London homecoming at The O2 on 28 June 2026. Since her MySpace breakthrough in the mid-2000s, she’s honed a blend of bright pop rooted in ska and reggae, sharp storytelling and a dry, unmistakable humour. Her debut, Alright, Still, put a musical face on everyday London life; It’s Not Me, It’s You took a more electronic turn, with candid lyrics about the personal, politics and celebrity. After a hiatus, Sheezus revived her electropop side, and No Shame revealed a more direct, introspective voice informed by her personal life.

On stage, Allen effortlessly moves from earworm choruses to more stripped-back numbers, alternating bite and tenderness without losing her candour. Her set can range from early favourites like “Smile” and “LDN” to the standout tracks from It’s Not Me, It’s You, then draw on No Shame for more intimate moments. The songs still bear the imprint of regular collaborators such as Mark Ronson and Greg Kurstin, but it’s her voice, her writing and her presence that lead the dance. In London, these songs return to the setting where they were born, for a show that puts centre stage that blend of clear melodies and unvarnished storytelling.
