Magnum headline at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on 3 October 2026. Formed in Birmingham in 1972 around guitarist-composer Tony Clarkin and singer Bob Catley, the band forged a melodic hard rock style that blends AOR textures, arena-ready refrains and a taste for storytelling. From the early run of Kingdom of Madness and Chase the Dragon to the turning point On a Storyteller’s Night, then Vigilante, Wings of Heaven and Goodnight L.A., their catalogue crosses eras without losing its melodic backbone. Reformed in 2001, Magnum have kept releasing new material, most recently The Monster Roars and Here Comes the Rain. After the passing of Tony Clarkin in 2024, the group continues on stage around Bob Catley, celebrating Clarkin’s songwriting with a set that mêlée classics and newer tracks built for the road.
